Tarot Tuesdays: March Deck Introduction

For the month of March we will be using The Universe Has Your Back oracle deck. This deck is fairly new to me. I haven’t done that many readings from it, so you all will be getting to get to know this deck with me. The Universe Has Your Back is a 52 card oracle deck by spiritual guru Gabrielle Bernstein promises to “help you find strength when you are down, synchronicity and support when you are lost, safety in the face of uncertainty, and jow in all circumstances.” I got my deck on Amazon, but it is also available through gabbyberstein.com.

I am a visual person so I am often drawn to buy decks with imagery that appeals to me. I’m all about analyzing symbolism, and this deck will give us some good practice with that. This deck was illustrated by Micaela Ezra and is absolutely gorgeous. One side of the cards features a mostly black and white design with a golden orb directly in the center, giving you the impression of looking up at the moon through foliage. Each card features a simple watercolor inspired design that goes with the card’s message. These simple messages are great to use as mantras or affirmations, and journal prompts.
